Luxury Kaunas Old Town Apartment

Great location and very comfortable studio. Highly recommend a stay

Self-check in. Was a little tricky to find the main entrance the first time, but figured it out with photos. The location is conveniently at the centre of Old Town and near lots of restaurants.

Small details and also our fault but what has been tricky for us was the timing for the reminder to pay the city tax, late the night before our departure, we struggled to find cash. Otherwise, we loved the place and would go back to the same apartment without doubt if we visit Kaunas again

This place is a total gem. It has charm and is incredibly stylish. I's in the centre of the Old Town, close to evey thing you would need. We were a bit early, but the host, who was still cleaning, was happy to let us leave our suitcase and come back when it was ready. There were lots of lovely touches such as some sweets and a washing machine.

Lovely apartment for a couple or family, has everything which could be needed by someone travelling. Very clean and tidy with lots of space. Would recommend to anyone and definitely would book this place again

Interesting one-room flat in a perfect location. Windows effectively kept out the noise from nearby bars and restaurants. Washing machine worked well.

The lofted 2nd bed is a strange thing. Neither of the mattresses fit the frames they were on, which wasn't a problem, just strange. The bathroom, located under the 2nd bed'room' has a very low ceiling. Towels are old and well-worn. No drying rack for laundry, so had to get creative with where to hang clothes out to dry.

The photographs don't lie: this historical apartment is really enormous! Yes, bathroom is rather small but very well equipped. When inside, it is real fun just to lay on the bed and observe all the corners and high ceiling! I was also surprised to find that this place is not noisy at all despite being pretty much in the city center. Communication with the host was quite straightforward!

We liked everything

We chose this accomodation, because it looked quirky and different. We were not in the least disappointed. The apartment was really well situated, to the Old Town. We literally had to walk a couple of metres to find any amount of places to eat and enjoy. It was marvellous. The apartment itself, was lovely in every way, it had everything and more that we needed. We didn't cook, only made coffee, and kept a few cold drinks in the fridge ( Lovely Red fridge, which was lovely!) The sitting area was lovely and the bed comfortable. Despite being almost in the Pedestrian zone, we never heard a peep from outside at night. I thoroughly recommend this accomodation to anyone. If a couple of places deserve a mention here, thez are: 1) Avilys Restaurant - we booked for my birthday and had a delcious meal. It was fabulous. The 2nd place, was a gorgeous little French breakfast place just around the corner, we had superb service from the young lady there ( helped us call a taxi etc) and we had a divine breakfast. There were two Georgian restaurants that we enjoyed too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If there had to be one thing that was not that easy, it was actually finding the accomodation. Our taxi driver dropped us off at the incorrect place, we walked and found the right street, but the numbering needs improving. There is nothing to indicate at all, were the accomodation was. In the end, I rang the number indicated on the booking, and the lady was most helpful, coming to our rescue in a very short time. Once we knew which door it was, we could retrieve the key ( in a key box , behind a curtain) and enter.
