A very well maintained property that’s exactly as it is on the photos. It is nicely decorated, comfortable and was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything one needs. The heating system is easy to manage and efficient. The property is close to the river with easy access to both the centre of Durham and green spaces. Communication with the property company was easy, Gemma has been super helpful with everything, even extra requests. The directions received made it easy to find The Grove. Like a lot of Durham, The Grove is on a hill but there’s excellent public transport and plenty of taxi options for those who find the uphill walk challenging. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and the apartment felt like a home away from home.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

Apartment took a long time to air, smelt very musty. No welcome pack. No WiFi instructions, I had to contact the booking agency to receive the password.
