Very polite and friendly owner. Uncomplicated check-in and out. Good and in general quite (...but see negative section) location. Main beach and also small natural beaches, super/mini markets/shops, bakery, bus stations etc. a few walking minutes away. Apartment is a little bit older but clean and in a good condition with big balcony.

Directly on the opposite side is the church, which starts with a main ring at 07:00am in the morning, after that with short rings every hour until 10:00pm. There was also a sunday liturgie which also started from 07:00am until 10:00am with several main rings and prayer outside by speakers. Shower area is very small, for slim people probably not a problem bu t for bigger people it can be. Coffee machine is very slow, kitchen could be a little bit better equipped.

No hot water in the bathroom sink so I had to pull the shower hose over and fill the sink that way, also the toilet seat wouldnt stay up so my Husband had to hold it up when going for a wee. I didnt like the kitchen as it was grubby and there was always a smell of drains. The pictures of the apartment made it appear large but everytime we walked to the kitchen or bathroom we had to move one of the chairs as there was no room to get past. Also it was said the Kalamitsa beach was a couple of minutes walk away - not if your 73 and 77.

The room and the bathroom are very spacious, which, in my experience, is not very common in budget places. The host was very helpful via the messaging system. We had a problem with the AC, but they helped us immediately. The location is perfect, in the historic center. There is a metro station nearby, as well as bus stops. The train station is pretty close too. The port where all the ferries are located is also nearby.

Well, one of the pros is kind of a con. The room and the bathroom are so spacious, but they are empty. I mean, there is one small table with only one chair, no wardrobe, no cabinets. The bathroom is actually the entrance hall of the apartment, and it is not perfect for privacy. The bathroom is huge, but it's kind of a waste of space. What I mean is, it could be utilized much better. Outside is noisy, but if you close the windows and use the AC, it's fine. We paid for the deluxe room, and I know that it is a budget place, but still, I can't say that there is anything considered deluxe about it.
