Forget Me Not

The property was in a great spot in the old town, 5 minutes from the Main Street. It was very clean and smelled great. We had everything we needed and more. The host was very helpful and responsive. He helped us with our luggage - took it from the street to the apartment and then back to the parking where our car was. I recommend this to everyone who wishes to have a great time in Kavala.

Beautiful room in a beautiful part of town! Very comfortable accomodation with helpful owners. Every restaurant, café or beach is just a walk away. Felt super comfortable getting home.

There are lots of stairs and the way there is very steep, if that could be an issue to you!

The furnishings are new and the decor of the studio is stylish. The bed was comfortable and, once the owner had fixed it, the wifi connection was good. The owner sent a video ahead of time on how to get to the place from the main road and was good about providing requested information, for example, about the nearest supermarket.

Unfortunately, information about the location of the apartments is not provided until after you have booked. The owner says 15 stairs but, in reality, it's 39 - I counted - which is not easy with a large suitcase... it's probably closer to 100 if you opt for the "stairs only" option. For some reason, there appears to be the need for a de-humidifier - perhaps because of the lack of fresh air because you can't really leave the one small window in the studio open - but it was so loud at night that I couldn't sleep, so I switched it off. There was no bathmat provided in the bathroom, which could be problematic because the design of the shower means the floor gets wet. There was no sheet to cover myself with at night so I had to improvise by using the small sheet intended for the small fold-out bed. The place was intended for up to 4 people, but there was not 4 of everything - one teaspoon, 2 soup spoons and 3 forks, for example, indicating that careful checks were not made. In addition, the ice box in the fridge had clearly not been defrosted in months. These are all things that should be checked after every guest leaves! Finally, there was a security issue. When I arrived, I didn't need to input the code for the key lock because it was already set to the code and, when I returned the key when I left, it was also set to the code AND the cover had been left open. A young couple checking out at the same time I did told me they'd had the same experience. I suggested to the owner that he tell people to change the numbers once they have taken the keys, but got no response.

Everything was perfect from the beginning. Owner sent us via WhatsUp all instructions of how to get to the hotel, where are the good restaurants near by, where is the good beach and also helped us with all our questions and issues during all the stay. Everything was very good: place, staff, cleanliness, communication. Will be happy to come back there next time :)

Great location, in the heart of kavala, with loads of great restaurants and bars nearby. Host was always available and provided great advice/recommendations. Studio is perfect size, even with a toddler we were still comfortable.

Very responsive and attentive staff. Very pleased with the attitude. The apartment is very clean, comfortable to live in and in an excellent location.
