PENINISULA ViSTA AL MAR BY ENNA INN IXTAPA

Gym equipment was excellent, view is unbeatable, outside property is very well kept- continually cleaned, pools were great for walking and swimming. King size bed was very comfortable. Great oven and electric stovetop. Full size fridge with large freezer. Very good quality towels. Air conditioning was excellent and ceiling fans in every room.

Second bedroom is not a bedroom, no windows and very small. Would not recommend for 4 adults but fine for 3. Needs dish towels as dishwasher was not operating. Needs some spices/salt and coffee filters, we left ours but none were there when we checked in.

This was the first time we have stayed in the Marina area, and we quite enjoyed it. It is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to downtown, or you can take a Combi bus for 12 pesos, or go all the way to Zihuatanejo for 17p. Taxis are readily available too. The beach is so much quieter in this area, although the surf is very strong. Many days we stuck to the pool. Luckily the two freshwater pools are fabulous! One has just been retiled, and apparently the second pool will be done this summer. There is a pool side restaurant, open 10-6, and offers a full food and bar menu at reasonable prices. There is 24-7 security at the building. All the staff were friendly and helpful, even if they did not speak English. All units have a fabulous ocean view with large balconies. We were in a two bedroom unit, but I must caution, the second bedroom is more like a den, converted to a bedroom. There is room for a shelf, but no closet. This works for families with small children but not as well for 4 adults. This is a great size unit for two. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi were excellent. Also Enna Inn was the property manager for our unit and they were very helpful and responsive, and available by text.

Dishwasher did not clean properly and likely needs to be replaced. The mattress in the second bedroom was very firm and may not be suitable for all.

TV was a bit hard as it was all spanish until a person came to adjust it, but still could not access specific shows

After eight years of existence of the building and the whole complex it is in a quiet bad shape and its rundown.

The breakfast was amazing along with the service. The location you can’t beat.
