Very cozy abd stylish apartments. Very clean.

Very noisy in the mornings,because of transports, which brings products to restaurants

We stayed in the ground floor apartment, which is excellently located just a few steps from the centre of the island. Beds were comfortable, and there was a small (two-hob) kitchenette with coffee-making facilities, a fridge, and a dishwasher. Despite the location directly opposite a popular pub, noise died down promptly at around 23:00 and was never a problem for us. Lindau island is fun to spend time on, with a busy centre, an attractive harbour, and -- behind the railway line -- a great park with playpark, table tennis, basketball, and for those who dare, swimming in the Bodensee. Worth mentioning, although it wasn't a negative for us: the listing was a bit confusing (to us) about parking: To park at a reasonable cost (€7/day) we had to park on the mainland, about 20 minutes' walk from the apartment.

The apartment was rather dark and airless, with windows at the front of the main living area only (the bedrooms were served by a kind of skylight). It got uncomfortably warm at night. It really wasn't very clean (for example, really dusty bedside tables, and bits of dirt encrusted into some of the soft furnishings) and this was exacerbated by the fact that there simply wasn't any space to put anything -- we ended up living out of suitcases on the floor of the living room. There was nowhere we could dry damp bathing costumes, etc. I realise that location plays a role but I ended up thinking that it must be possible to get better accommodation on Lindau island for the price we paid.

The room was beautiful and clean and had a lovely balcony, the house is situated right in the middle of town and just 5 min walk from the station, easily find many restaurants and bakeries nearby. We were welcomed by the owners and they were very kind and helpful towards all our queries.

Just a suggestion: 1. TV could be a smart TV, as it was just a cable connection and it only had German channels. For people wanting to spend more time in the room, it can provide necessary entertainment. 2. Few English books to read.

Liked the location, quiet, charm and comfort of the apartment. Also that it was on the ground floor and away from the Main Street.

The apartment was in a fantastic location. Quiet! Nicely decorated and had most everything you'd need.

Pictures on the website are confusing. We were a little surprised with a studio but it worked out fine. Fans to help with the heat would be great.
