FLH Beato River View with Balcony

They gave us another appartment in the last minute which wasn’t worth it for the same amount of money and they didn’t give us compensation.

Location, the view from balcony was nice and had shops and transport facilities nearby

The check in miscommunication was very disappointing. The building was very old and run down with paper thin walls. The mattress and bed frame was uncomfortable and poorly put together which kept us up. The couch was filthy and falling apart. The floor had huge holes in them and a dirty throw rug was placed over them as to cover it up instead of fixing it. Mold and bugs were all over the ceiling..was very disgusting. The tile in bathroom was also moldy and nasty. Barely looked like it was cleaned. The sink was also clogged and neglected. It’s better to just stay in the city center. Don’t let the view option and pictures fool you, it’s not worth staying there. We called their “concierge” number for assistance and they texted us back as if we were bothering them. If you appreciate proper customer service and cleanliness don’t stay here.

The location is a bit far from supermarket and shops of all kinds. The bathrooms is molded on the ceiling and stinks, in the shower around the tiles and handles. One thing I would have appreciated is if in the kitchen were available the basic condiments like oil salt pepper and sugar.

Fantastically appointed - everything we needed. Beautiful views, particularly if you like watching the harbour traffic. On good bus routes, which was needed as it is approx 1.5-2km away from Alfama and central tourist areas, which is a long walk. Great service and support from FLH staff from helping us get in during a midnight check in to support with wifi issues.

There is a smell in the apartment from the bathroom drainage system. We believe that this is a problem with the building, not the apartment. Could be managed.

The place was clean and had nice views.
