Casa Beco Do Castelo

It was very near the centre and were near many different cafes and restaurants. Not too far from 3 metro stations and train station. Was a nice welcome bottle of wine and sardines. Not too far from a good supermarket. If go down the steps from the apartment and turn left, there are bars, cafes and restaurants and don't need to go down more steps, also if follow the road go through the archway and down the slope there is the good supermarket on the left.

Need go up many steps to get to the apartment (not easy if not very mobile on foot). No conditioning (but was a fan already supplied).

Good location, nicely renovated, quiet, lovely bottle of red wine awaiting us.

No air conditioning a real problem in serious Lisbon heat, not easy to find and host not there to greet us though was on phone. Shower very tight for a tall man. Lots of stair climbing to reach place!
