Perfect location, clean, a very warm welcome from the host

Excellent emplacement. On peut visiter la ville à pied. Bien desservi par les transports en commun. Quartier très festif la nuit. L'appartement est confortable. La cuisine est suffisamment équipée. Le propriétaire est accueillant, arrangeant et à l'écoute.

We were warmly received by Jorge. He is a great host. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. It is centrally located so you can walk easily to main sites

We like music and nightlife, however, the noise and crowds every night were quite extreme til 3 am

Ca si locație a fost foarte ușor in a ajunge in punctele turistice, aproape de transportul public, dar si pe jos.

ZGOMOT!!! Locația se afla deasupra a 3 baruri, ce sunt deschise zilnic, începând cu ora 17 pana la 3-4 dimineața. Pentru cei ce vor sa petreacă toata noaptea, locația este perfectă, dar daca vrei sa dormi, nu vei putea. Nu exista tv! Apa caldă este ca la loterie, pentru a doua persoană. In apartament exista mucegai,mirosul este impregnant. Peretii crapati,podeaua scârțâie la fiecare pas facut.Persoana care ne-a intampinat, pe langa faptul ca nu ne-a facut o prezentare a locației, doar ne-a avertizat si arătat un prosop care trebuie lăsat in permanență in jurul plitei electrice ( oricum nefunctionala)pentru ca pe timp de ploaie, se prelinge apă, am cerut recomandari si indrumari pentru un restaurant si nu ne-a spus mai nimic,din contra, nu stia cum sa plece cât mai repede din apartament. In bucatarie, coșul de gunoi nu fusese golit. Nu am găsit in apartament vreo matură sau un mop, tinand cont ca am fost cazată 5 nopți, nici măcar un pix pentru a completa formularul de cazare.

Clean lots of space comfortable and location is very good.

Many clubs around . By closing the bedroom doors it's not very loud .if you're a light sleeper you might need ear plugs . But it's not so bad for the proximity of the bars .

The gentleman who met me upon arrival could not have been more welcoming. He spent at least a half hour telling me about Lisbon and what there is to see and do -- and even offered a "welcome gift" of a bottle of wine.

Looking only at a map, it seems like a good, central location. Unfortunately, that block of Rua Atalaia is filled with popular nightclubs that play loud rock music and whose rowdy clients spill out into the narrow street. The windows provide decent soundproofing, but if closed, that rules out fresh air in the apartment. I find the apartment itself not particularly suitable for an older person. There are no grab bars in the shower, and the stair well is dangerous due to narrow and very steep steps. It's very difficult to carry a large, heavy suitcase up and down the stairs. Not of particular importance to me, but perhaps to others, there was no air conditioning (just a fan) and no television or telephone.
