Casa Portuguesa is in a wonderful location in the centre of the old town near all the main sights. It has fantastic views including one over the historic funicular and coast.

The area of ​​the apartment is acceptable, but the apartment needs a refresh. I found a lot of mold on the walls in the rooms and in the bathroom. The bed mattresses are very old and very bad. There is a lot of noise outside, because the windows don't close properly. Thanks.

Location is perfect

Booked for 4 nights but stayed only 1 because on the first night I was bitten by bed bugs on my neck and face. This happened during Web Summit, where I had important business meetings, which made the situation extremely stressful. After checking beds, the host confirmed the presence of bed bugs and refunded the stay for all 4 nights. I had swollen bite marks on my face — some bigger than a 1-euro coin, and I expected compensation for health-related costs, as I had to buy medication to avoid complications, but after cancelling the reservation the host stopped responding. Besides the bed bugs, the bedding was not very clean and had hair on it in several places.
