Soul of Lisbon - IV

The apartment was spacious, light, beautifully furnished and very clean. Whilst we didn't prepare meals there, the kitchen is very well equipped. The location is ideal for seeing the city, with bars, bakeries and shops about a minute's walk away, and a supermarket within 5 minutes. The beds are very comfortable, with air conditioning in each bedroom which really helps on a warm evening. There is space to store luggage after check out too. The apartment is down a narrow street but taxis can get within a few metres of it. Do print the location map off as suggested by the owners, as that will help you and your taxi driver to find the apartment. With the shutters and windows closed you hear very little noise, but with them open you can enjoy the sounds from the local bars. There are just a few stairs on a straight staircase once inside the building to get to apartment 4, so not far to lift your luggage. Lisbon is very hilly, but there are stairs down to the city centre from the apartment location, and Rossio station, the main tram stop for tram 28 and other central landmarks are only 5 to 10 minutes away. Do get a taxi though with your luggage if you have wheeled suitcases to carry to the stations, as the hills are high and many streets are cobbled.

Estaba muy limpio, y totalmente reformado. Esta muy bien ubicado y céntrico

La entrada del edificio es muy vieja y da mala imagen. Difícil acceder a aparcamiento público y caro. Un poco caro en relación calidad precio.

Charming neighborhood in old town. Easy to get around to everything. Felt safe.

Personale molto accogliente e disponibile. Ci hanno dato ottimi consigli, soprattutto su dove pranzare/cenare. È stato possibile lasciare i bagagli nella struttura prima che la camera fosse pronta. Il personale conosce perfettamente l’inglese. Casa molto spaziosa e luminosa. Inoltre è in posizione centrale, per cui si raggiungono facilmente molte delle attrazioni principali e i locali anche a piedi.

Il bagno non ha la finestra e la ventola funziona poco.

We liked the location and the cleanliness of the apartment.

It was a little difficult to find the apartment and there was a lot of noise in the alley. Other than that, it was great!
