Sunrise Terrace Apartment

A rooftop oasis in the city. This apartment provides everything you need for everyday living, along with a huge terrace, where you can dine and recline surrounded by plants and open-air vistas. There are awnings if the sun is too strong, and a glassed-in dining area if it is cooler, so it’s an amazing find. If you are looking for a slick, modern hotel without character, and no room to unpack, this is not the place. Here, you feel like you are borrowing a friend’s home, surrounded by plants, original artwork, tile floors, and comfy places to spread out and relax. The bed is soft and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and includes the washer/dryer for laundry. There is a big grocery store on the block and a great little, local restaurant with the best seafood right downstairs. It is quieter than the touristic centre, near a few big parks, and just one block from the Metro and buses to get everywhere easily. Miguel met us at the apartment, and is friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would rent this again if we came back.

There was nothing that we didn't like. After 4 weeks of travelling, this was a great place to relax and call home base for seeing Lisbon.

Nice hosts who allowed me late check-out, apartments are very spacious (though full of things) and have great terrace. Very well equipped with all things in the kitchen you may possibly need. Location is good - quiet, close to the metro and supermarkets. WiFi was working fine.

Since the weather was relatively cold it was a bit chilly in the apartments even though there are heaters and I set air-cons to heating (but it's mostly because apartments are big :)) A lock on the building's entrance door is glitchy and may need a replacement soon.

Very quiet, comfortable and convenient for transportation and shops.

Bed was too soft, lacked support, “troughed”, and seemed worn out.

Lovely location, beautiful terrace which we used a lot!! Apartment itself clean and comfy and pretty, very good AC. A wonderful base to come back to after busy days in the city.

Great Apartment and sun terrace . A nice touch is that you get a bottle of vinho verde and pasteld de nata as a welcome gift.
