Location and very comfortable apartment

We had a great time and the place was really nice. The hosts were great. One negative point it was a very noisy apartment so not ideal if you want to have a good night. In the weekend there were a lot of drunk people on the street that were singing or shouting and also the neigbor upstairs made a lot of noise at 3 or 4 am. After we told him it was better.

Small apartment, cozy, on a quiet street

In short, the place was not very clean. In detail, there were many flies around the apartment, the kitchen was infested by ants and we found (and killed) a big cockroach walking in the hallway. The freezer was completely occupied by stuff left by one of the prevoius guests and was frozen in a big block of ice. I was tempted to leave and find a hotel, but we had already payed for our stay. When we wrote the owner about all this and sent them photos, their answer was quite unhelpful. As a minimum I expected them to place us in a hotel until the place was cleaned up.
