Charming 3 Bedroom Wonder Downtown by LovelyStay

We were a group of four, and we all loved the apartment. Plenty of space, and in a perfect location to explore old Lisbon. It was very easy to check in and out.

The place is described as having an elevator, and this is somewhat misleading; because there is an elevator but it stops in-between floors, so there are still stairs up to the elevator, and then more stairs to the door. (I'm pointing this out because we had an elderly relative with us, and I specifically booked a place with an elevator). The only other (minor) negative is that there was no tea or coffee, and it's nice if the hosts provide just a handful of saches.

Tucked away between AlFama and Baixa. Steps away from main tourist attractions.

Dishwasher didn’t work. Could have had more towels

Great central location, excellent shower pressure, smart tv, large lounge and good kitchen.

The bedrooms were quite dirty, and in desperate need of some new paint. Rooms were odd! Large back room was expecting a double this was in fact 2 single pushed together. The smell from the kitchen right below and opposite from the room was overwhelming with garlic. The constant buzzing sound from the restaurant kitchen was loud. All of this with the windows shut! Middle room was a tiny double bed (a single bed and a half) Last room was a joke! Its a pull down bed but you cannot manoeuvre around the bed without having to step of the corner of the bed. That really should be a single bed. It’s essentially an office and you would pull the bed down for occasional visitors. Bathrooms fine a bit dirty in places but do the job (there is no en-suite) 2 bathrooms 2 showers and 3 toilets in total Last piece of advice is do not try to enter the accommodation ANY time before 3pm. The doors have codes that release the apartment at exactly 3pm. Spent 45 minutes messing round trying to understand why a ready apartment wasn’t accessible.

The property is close to shops, restaurants, and easy access main parts of the city. The property was spacious and clean.

The bedrooms in the back did feel stuffy/warm even with the fans. You do need to be mindful of water consumption if multiple people are showering in a short time frame.

Hard to get taxi and car can not enter the street

Instructions to the property were clear. We had no hassle in checking in and finding the apartment

Excellent location 10/10 Huge spacious apartment with 2.5 bathrooms

Excellent location in downtown Lisbon but located on a quiet street off the main street. Very spacious apartment with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It has a combo unit washer/dryer and was perfect for our first visit to Lisbon. Ubers were plentiful and property managers were responsive. Many restaurants on the same block.

We had some minor maintenance issues: a fan was broken and could not figure out how to use the washer/dryer. But property managers were responsive and helped us get everything sorted. It's an old building (as is most everything in Portugal) so there was a bit of a funky smell and some mildew in the bathroom. But otherwise the apartment was pretty clean. It does not have AC but did not get too hot with the fans. Not the best view, faces an old building with peeling paint, but the 1st floor location helps keep the apartment cooler in the summer.

Key was a poor fit for the front door and got stuck and had to spend time getting it out. Coffee machine did not work
