"Clean and comfy at the ❤️ of Alfama"

The street was very quiet despite being so near to sights in Alfama. Perfect base for exploring and wandering round. Room was clean and comfortable with blockout blinds. Shower pressure and temperature very good. Toilet clean and shower gel provided. Henrique was very helpful. Didn't see any of my neighbours the whole 3d/2n stay. Check-in / check-out was straightforward. Welcome wine was a nice touch, although I didn’t open mine. I would certainly stay here again.

I liked everything but I do warn that where I stayed had 8 steep steps (inside the property) to get to it so be careful! In general, getting to the property takes a lot of steps either up or down as it is not on street level, but I presume this is normal for Alfama. Also: bring your own slippers.

"Small unit right in the middle of everything"

The hosts were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. The apartment was in a great location - right opposite one of the best restaurants we have eaten at, and close to lots of sights within walking distance.

The apartment was great, but it was quite simple - it lacked a bit of personality. Just our opinion.
