"An Unfortunate Stay: A Disappointing Experience at the Apartment 105"

Amidst the tumult, the bed provided a haven of comfort. The presence of Nespresso machines offered fleeting moments of respite and indulgence.

I must say, my experience at this apartment was quite disappointing, to say the least. The location was tremendously noisy, situated on the first floor right next to a street bustling with nightclubs. Even with the AC on, there was no respite from the relentless cacophony, making it utterly impossible to get any shut-eye. And let me tell you, the lack of proper illumination and scarce availability of electrical outlets only added to my vexation. It was truly exasperating to discover that, despite providing Nespresso coffee machines, there were no reasonable places to plug them in. I found myself contorting into all sorts of acrobatic positions just to enjoy a cup of joe. Not the most ideal situation, I must say. Now, while the bed itself was relatively comfortable, I cannot overlook the fact that the pillows were rather subpar. It's disheartening when such a basic amenity falls short and fails to provide the necessary comfort one expects. As if that wasn't enough, the WC tank seemed to take an eternity to fill up. Such a seemingly simple task turned into a frustrating ordeal, causing unnecessary delays and exacerbating my growing irritation. And let's not forget the appalling treatment I received from the staff. When I attempted to adjust my check-in time by a mere half an hour, their rudeness and impoliteness truly surpassed all bounds. To add insult to injury, even when the designated check-in time arrived, the apartment was still not ready. I was left waiting for an additional hour, which I must say is utterly preposterous. It's simply inconceivable to me that such lack of professionalism and disregard for my valuable time could be displayed. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to provide only a single card key. Can you believe it? Not even the most budget-friendly hotels engage in such miserly practices these days. And what's more, they had the nerve to demand an extra 20€ for an additional key.

"Fab location"

The location was fantastic and the so was the building and apartment.

We arrived late to Lisbon and ended up having to go to head office to collect the keys in another location but when we arrived to the apartment there were key card boxes for another booking company in the lobby - for ease of convenience it might be handy to have some key card boxes available for those who arrive very late. We only received one key so if I wanted to stay out later with friends it was impossible to do so without waking up my husband. The lighting was incredibly dim and the light at the entrance wasn't working at all - no one acknowledged this on our arrival. The mattress did not have a protector on it and apart from one blanket (no cover) there were no extra sheets (or towels). The bathroom grouting needs a little TLC as it looks a bit dirty.

Location, space, cleanliness

The place didn’t provide enough linen or towels or pillows for three people during the whole stay. I contacted the property several times and was always promised the problem to be solved and that never happened. In the end we were three people sleeping uncomfortably in one bed sharing towels when we all should have had an extra place to sleep with bed sheets blankets and pillows. The compensation offered by the property wasn’t sufficient to cover the unpleasant stay. Adding to the lack of service I was insulted by being referred to as a liar when they decided to believe the service instead of the customer.
