Charming Apartment Travessa do Alcaide

Great location

Not all Taxis can park right in front of the building.

The location is excellent with walking distance to the tramway stop, city waterfront, many excellent restaurants and interesting local gathering courts.

The bathroom could be more comfortable with better shower door and air ventilation

The location was perfect. Close to tourist area but still not on busy street. The apartment was well equipped despite the building was reallyold.

Sounds of steps from the apartment above, but having in mind that it was really old building I assume it is normal and in fact it didn't bother us much.

Clean bathroom, small kitchen but there’s everything you might need, very cozy and well decorated flat. Hosts are friendly and helpful. All main sights are walking distance. By the way, ceilings are quite low, might be important if you are tall ) for me it was okay

You can hear everyone going in and out of the building, flat is not much soundproof

The apartment was charming & unique. The location was fabulous & the hosts were available whenever we had a query & were so kind.

Lovely little apartment with super easy way to access (via and app). Apartment (and the bed/pillows) was very comfy. The hosts provided easy information on checking in and local sites/restaurants if needed. There was also a bottle of wine on arrival which was lovely (didn't get a chance to drink it though!)

Just be aware the floors (above and below) are very creaky so you'll hear people stomping above you. If you get an uber here they need to have access to the street as it's a residential area - most taxis are allowed in though - otherwise it's around a 5-8min walk from the main road.

The whole place was clean! The beds were comfy. They provided enough towels for all of us. Complete amenities.

Getting to the place was a bit of a struggle, especially since we took the public transit and we're carrying luggages. It was a struggle going up the hill with all our bags. My suggestion is that when travelling to Lisbon, its better to just carry a big backpack instead of a luggage.

Great communication with the hosts, who were very helpful. Conveniently located to the central area.
