loftOtel canet

We recently stayed for two nights at loftOtel Canet in Esporles, booking the Loft Marron and Loft Amber cottages. There were several disappointing aspects to our stay. A number of facilities listed in the accommodation description were either unavailable or not as advertised, including a tea/coffee maker, iron, microwave, satellite TV channels, cable channels, and barbecue facilities. The cottage contained a teapot, but it was missing its lid. We also found that both cottages were situated directly alongside the main road, where traffic noise continued throughout the night and significantly affected the peaceful atmosphere we had expected. The Wi-Fi connection was very poor throughout our stay, making it difficult to use reliably. Another point worth noting is that the shower room connected to the bedroom has no door, which some guests may find lacking in privacy. In the dining area, several of the seat cushions were covered in cat hair. While animal lovers may not be concerned, some guests could find this unhygienic and off-putting, particularly in an area where food is served. On the positive side, the property has a unique and quirky character. The décor is somewhat unusual, with double beds positioned around the gardens and patios, but it certainly creates a distinctive setting. We particularly enjoyed seeing the animals around the grounds, including geese, a donkey, a pony, and rabbits roaming freely. Breakfast was simple but adequate, consisting of croissants, toast, cheeses, cold meats, fruit, juice, and cereal. Guests are also offered cooked eggs on request. However, breakfast does not begin until 8:30 a.m., which may be inconvenient for families with young children or guests planning early day trips and excursions. Overall, loftOtel Canet offers a rustic and charming environment with some appealing countryside touches, but we felt that the experience fell short of expectations.

La ubicación y el entorno són muy buenos. La habitación es muy cómoda y grande, igual que el baño. Creo que la cama era más grande de lo normal o como mínimo nos sorprendió. El desayuno es correcto, suficiente por el precio. Lo valoramos positivamente a nivel de calidad-precio.

El baño estaba un poco sucio, nos encontramos unos objetos muy personales y de un solo uso de los anteriores huéspedes, eran pequeños pero si los vimos nosotros entiendo que lo debería haber visto el personal del agroturismo. El personal me pareció poco atento, a parte de conversaciones en voz alta que no creo que deban de saber los huéspedes, hacía tiempo que no me encontraba con un servicio con tan poca memoria y por otro lado, con un tono un poco "vacilón" (disculpar la expresión)
