Quite central but still in a quite street

It’s the first time someone asked us to throw away trash after the stay. Seems to not be a big deal but it’s just strange as we are travelling a lot and never encountered that :)

Easy communication with the hosting company. Everything as described. Quick response to small unexpected problems as they appear. Having a few coffee pods for the 1st day was great.

Having a bit of dishwasher liquid and a bit more toiletries (soap, toilet paper) according to the number of people and the duration of the stay could be a good idea.

Clean. A good layout. A nice kitchen.

Lack natural light. Lack of parking.

The apartment is located in a walking distance from Alfama (10-15min), easy check in and check out process. Its fully equipped with things like iron, washing machine, hairdryer, etc. Very cute balcony, but not really airy. Supermarkets and cafes nearby. Quiet at night.

I didn't like much that the apartment is very dark, meaning there is no natural light coming in except through the front door's window. It's good that the apartment is provided with humidifier because it can get a bit humid during spring/wet season, since you can't let much air to come in through. The most uncomfortable thing was that in the booking facilities it said available parking, but there is actually no parking. The street is on a paid zone, so you can't leave your car there. Fortunately there is a private parking 200m away that is easy and comfortable to use. Also, I know this is not a big deal, but when you have guests for 4 nights, you can leave more than 2 capsules for the coffee machine, it always looks thoughtful.

Very good central location, close to picturesque tram line 28E. All kinds of electrical appliances available in the apartment. Kitchen also equipped with everything necessary.

Dark and cold apartment in the ground floor, no direct light from the outside with the exception of a small patio. I suspect one of the bed sheets to be re-used.

Clean and quiet. Comfortable. Close to centre.

Very hilly surrounds, not suitable for elderly and sick. Like most AirBNBs, evacuation in the case of a fire could be problematic.

Nice flat.
