Apartment Beco das Farinhas

Cosy apartment, ideal for 2 people, with all the amenities and very clean. Great water pressure. Very close and convenient to the center and transport links, supermarket, local restaurants and bars.

This is down to personal choice, one of the downsides of being close to local restaurants and bars, is that it is quite noisy late at night. Although the apartment was really clean, there was a large off-putting stain on the sofa that should have been dealt with.

Nice little apartment in the most cozy street in Lisboa. And our good host, Ana took good care of instructions, keycodes, etc. - and sending my forgotten driving licence to Denmark, thank you for that, Ana!

Position: Close to major station of Rossio, Metro Station, market stores, shops and restaurants. Kindness, clarity of instructions and availability of the owner.

Good location, clean, comfy bed, fully equiped kitchen and bathroom, enough storage space and an extra extendable sofa.

It rained a lot, i think some coat hangers near the entrance to hang out our coats and umbrellas would be nice to have

This little apartment is in prime position in the old winding lanes of Alfama. Very quaint and authentic Lisbon. Beautiful. It is a little noisy because the everyday life and nightlife of the little restaurants and bars echoes up from the cobbles and walls. Atmosphere is amazing. Apartment is on second floor, so quite a few stairs to climb. It has everything you could possibly need. Big supermarket and trams, buses and metro within easy reach. Ana, the owner, was mega helpful. Excellent communication and one little problem with TV and WiFi was immediately rectified. She deserves far more than a 10 rating. Thankyou Ana

The location was great, although did mean it was noisy at night because people would be walking past. But this is to be expected, but being ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. There was a heater in the apartment which was a life saver because it was colder in the evenings and on a few days we got rained on so it allowed us to dry our clothes. WiFi good and bed was comfy.

The noise did impact our stay, but that isn’t anyone’s fault. Small things like there were no coffee pods for the coffee machine, no water in the fridge, the corkscrew was broken so we almost corked our wine. Small things that would have helped improve our stay, but not detrimental.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Close to the supermarket, bars, restaurants and walking distance to all the main attractions and transport. There is a lift located in the local supermarket which takes you up to the road leading to the Castle entrance/ rooftop bar with great views. Communication with Ana the host was clear and she was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Thank you for a lovely 4 days in Lisbon. I would recommend this apartment and location.

The location was great! Quiet tucked away street that was in the middle of alfama and baixa with restaurants close by. Our flights were delayed by 8 hours and the host was so gracious enough to let us stay at the apartment as long as we needed. Thank you!

The apartment was smaller than we thought but still had everything we needed with no complaints.

Very well equipped studio apartment. Easy to cook. Fridge and freezer. Very good location.

The location was perfect. The apartment was small but well equipped with everything necessary. It was clean, with no bad smell. Enough dishes and even washing machine, which seems to be very rare in Portugal in city centres. The neighbourhood was noisy but safe. The owner was always easy to reach.

It is not that we didn’t like it, but the stairs were narrow and quite tough to reach the apartment with the luggage. The price you have to pay for living in the very centre :) just be prepared for that.
