Cosy Alfama

Excellent location, and perfect size for a couple. Host was fantastic, allowed us to drop off luggage in advance, and super helpful overall!

Could do with some better cleaning. The two hour gap between cleans clearly isn’t long enough as the cutlery was all dirty, mouldy window sills, bathroom has a large amount of limescale, and quite a lot of broken things (shower tap, kitchen bin, etc). So much potential, but could do with some updating.

It's a cozy little apartment in a typical Alfama small Alley, where you can sleep peacefully and cook the basics. Miguel doesn't always answer immediately but he tries to solve any problem, he is a good host.

The bathroom is really small and old, the shower is a bit uncomfortable... and it can happen (like to me) that there is no water ate all, and then it is a problem... but it is not the owner's fault but the city's aqueduct system.

I loved the location and the vibe of the Alfama neighbourhood. Apartment was clean and was comfortable to stay in for one night and check-in was very easy.

They were doing some roadwork in the vicinity and taxi couldn't get close to the apartment. Therefore we had to walk with all our luggages on the cobbled stones and then up the narrow staircase of the apartment.

Location, easy to walk around, the size of the apartment was perfect for two people. The host was always very responsive and provided all necessary information in advance.

In general the place was clean, but the bathroom cleaning could have matched the rest of the place.

The localisation was unmatched ! The view from the balcony is gorg, the apartment is clean and comfortable. The host offered all the facilities needed (washing machine, laundry product)
