MyPlaceLisbon - Luxury Trindade II

The property was lovely and was in a great area. It was large enough for 8 people comfortably. We would stay again! The Italian restaurant across the street is lovely and great food!

The 3 floor climb was hard with bags but it was worth it. It needed a few repairs but everything worked well.

The apartment was great. Very central in Lisboa. Walking distance to city center, the castle and more. The host is very kind and helpful. We were 8 people and had plenty of room.

Location was great. Rooms were spacious.

Bathrooms, the one was practically in usable, the tile outside the shower was so loose that I was concerned someone would fall thru the floor.

Beautiful apartment in an amazing location!

Only small item was a few things needed repair like a tap and one bedroom lock.

The location of this apartment is prime, easy access to many places around the area. The apartment is big and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped.

The quality of towels was really bad.

Great location. Major sights are within walking distance. The apartment, especially the living room, is beautifully decorated.

There are only 2 full bathrooms and one toilet for an apartment meant for 8 people. In addition, if both bathrooms are used at the same time, hot water runs out. So showers have to be timed and spaced out. We had to request for a hair dryer before it was brought to us. The kitchen though well equipped lacked minor details such as kitchen towel. These were not deal breakers but does contribute to the overall experience.

The location was incredible, the amount of space in the common area was great, it was nice to have a full kitchen, dining room and living room. It’s well decorated.

This apartment is in a 100 year old building. The main stairs in and out of the building need replaced. Each step is worn with time making it less than ideal pulling luggage up and down the stairs and a bit dangerous. It was raining when we arrived and there’s no indoor reception area to wait in without keys, so we were stuck standing in the rain waiting for the property host to arrive with keys. It would have been better to have everything on a key code so we could have let ourselves in. Due to the age of the building, they don’t want toilet paper flushed. The bathroom had clearly been remodeled so that is a detail I wish had been included in the listing. (That was a foreign concept to our children and a detail no one enjoyed.) The listing talked about noise-proof walls which was one of the reasons I selected this property. It is quiet in terms of exterior noise but because of the age of the apartment (which doesn’t really show in the photos), the interior noises are so loud. There may as well not be walls between the bedrooms. Some of the doors don’t close completely. All of the door handles are loud and need to be replaced. The doors are ancient and don’t seal out any sound. If you struggle to sleep, this is not a good apartment. There were no extra towels, no extra paper towels, the heating units in the living room and dining room weren’t working when we arrived, the master bedroom and bathroom smelled like sewer gas and there was a thick layer of dust on many of the lamps and accessories (the host and maintenance returned the next day to take care of the issues). The good reviews had me sold on this place but we encountered many issues, possibly because we visited in November and it seemed like the apartment hadn’t been in use for a bit.

Size of apartment was great and in a perfect location. Bedrooms very spacy and living area and dining area lovely for a large group. There was 5 of us.

Some bulbs not working in lamps. A bad smell in bedroom with ensuite. We only noticed before we left they had a note up to contact them if there was a problem with smell so possibly it could have been sorted. Air con units were tricky to use for heating

Quartos bons, limpeza ok, atendimento muito bom dos proprietários. Ótima comunicação. Localização muito boa para turismo.

Cheiro no banheiro do quarto master incomodou muito durante toda estadia. Dois lances de Escada para entrar no apt, não foi um grande desafio, mas caso tenham pessoas com idade e/ou dificuldade de locomoção, pode ser um desafio.
