Beautifully appointed, comfortable property with everything needed for our stay. Lots of lovely touches. Don’t be put off by the unprepossessing kerbside appearance. Very gracious host.

The entrance to the parking area is rather narrow, however we do have a larger car. Because we have a blue badge we were able to use on street parking. Not sure how easy this would be during busy summer months.

This is a lovely period property situated within a few minutes of Ludlow town centre. Advantageously, it has off street parking. On arrival I was greeted by the owner of the property & given a guided tour. The apartment was exceptionally clean, tidy and well organised. A modern well equipped kitchen & bathroom offered all the conveniences of modern day living. The rest of the apartment was aesthetically pleasing mixing period features with functionality and charm. The owner had gone above & beyond providing all the essentials and more including fresh flowers!

Sally is a great communicator and host. That apartment on the ground floor of the Old Star & Garter pub has been sympathetically converted and furnished to a very high standard. A welcome pack contained local free range eggs, bread and milk plus butter and fruit. There are various teas, coffees and condiments for your daily needs. it's extremely well equipped, even a cocktail shaker with glasses. Lots of Ludlow books and info along with a bookcase of fiction and non-fiction if you have the time. This is a great base to explore the area from.

I'm struggling to think of any negatives. Some might say it's slightly dark but that's shown in the listing pictures anyway.

Excellent location in centre of Ludlow with parking. Close to station. Very well equipped - everything thought of. Exceptionally clean. Bread, milk, butter, fruit and tea/coffee made available. Nicely furnished. Very good, hot shower. Would definitely book again if I returned to the area.

This is a wonderful place to stay to visit Ludlow and the surrounding area. The apartment had everything we needed and more. A very well equipped kitchen, with the nice touch of fresh bread, milk and eggs. But what was really nice was the lovely welcome from Sally, which set us up for a great stay. We would definitely stay here if ever visiting the area again. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location. Beautifully furnished and well equipped. Lovely sitting room with dining table, wood burner, big sofa & easy chairs, even a writing bureau! Cosy comfortable bedrooms. Great bathroom and kitchen. Scrupulously clean. Sally is the perfect host- she’s thought of everything, is friendly but unobtrusive. Particularly grateful for the local eggs and breadon arrival, and the late checkout. Possibly the best s/c property we’ve stayed in.

I'm a regular visitor to Ludlow but this was the first time I've stayed at this property - and it was fabulous! Very central, and with parking (such a plus in Ludlow) with almost everything I needed - the only thing missing was a bath for a long, hot soak. Sally, my host, was excellent - met me at the property when I arrived, and had provided fresh fruit, bread, eggs and milk from the local market / shops. Even though I knew Ludlow well, it was really welcome to see all the local information, books and leaflets that Sally provided for Ludlow and the surrounding areas.

Only thing (which I knew when I booked) was the lack of a bath
