"Where the canyon meets the bay. Good conditions plus great views."

Everybody will admire the view, love the terrace, and appreciate the calm and cosiness of Lukovo, the great ambience of the canyon meeting the bay. Almost everything worked there OK (Wi-Fi, hot water, air-con). The lock was very safe (as long as you can remember the code).

Whatever the instructions, you will lose time finding the place as the "Cvita' sign is only at the entrance to the village. Car parking is in practice not guaranteed by the owners and is extremely difficult in Lukovo, just like turning your car back anywhere there (daily nightmare). The interior is a bit over-decorated with little things. Lukovo is not St. Tropez, and a rather average (although very nice) apartment is overpriced. No shops and restaurants, limited walking options.

We spent two nights here in pre-season between 9 and 11 April. An extremely quiet, highly hospitable, well-equipped, cosy apartment with a relatively spacious terrace, beautiful scenery, sea view, and lots of singing birds. Lukovo is a small, quiet village, deep by the seaside. The access road has been completely reconstructed.

The sea was a bit cold in early April :)

Das Apartment lag 3 km unterhalb der Küstenstrasse in einem sehr ruhigen Dörfchen mit Ausblick auf die Bucht und das Meer. Es war sehr ruhig, großzügig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Leider hatten wir nur 1 Übernachtung als Stop von Zadar nach Rijeka. Sehr schade. Hier hätte man noch gut 1-2 Tage mehr entspannen können. Von der Terrasse sieht man einen fantastischen Sonnenuntergang. Man muss aber daran denken, das es hier nichts gibt, ausser Ruhe.
