1. The view is to die for especially at night with all the glimmering lights. we had a short 3 night stay that we dont want to miss a night of that lovely view so my husband and I ensures we are back to witness the sunset. 2. Very clean apartment and very helpful and responsive host, Elisa. We had some issue with the cooker, a combination of the pan and our naivete but just a message away and Elisa sent the lovely couple. despite our lost in translation moments which google translate easily solves, the couple genuinely assist us and check if we are comfortable (i wish i remember the kind couple's names). 1 bedroom apartment with sofa bed is a good size to fit our family of 4 plus our 3 big luggages from travelling around Italy and Lugano. 3. Towards the end of the street to the left will take you to a beautiful trail which led us to a family owned restaurant, Grotto Castagnello, - very friendly owners. the Mum does the cooking and we sampled few dishes that has really wanting us to return! amazing food in all seriousness! 4. at the bottom of the hill (not walkable- you can either drive to it or bus or take the funicular train down) is the Lido di Lugano. really minimal entrance fee but soo amazing place to spent the day by the lake. you can take your own or like us, we have rented an umbrella and sunlounger for a minimal fee. my kids never got bored swimming by the lake or enjoying the diving board by the pool. it's one of the highlights of our Lugano trip.

Whilst I could not fault the apartment, it is worth mentioning this is on the higher ground. you cannot walk to the bottom of the area to buy fruits and walk back. hence the most spectacular view from high up. you need to either take a bus which stops near the apartment or drive down. taking the funicular train will be a bit costly means of transport up and down if you are a family. you might want to bring all essentials before nestling in unless you are ready to take a drive down again to the main ground where big supermarkets are.

La casa è molto spaziosa e con una vista formidabile su lugano, in particolare al tramonto.

La parte posteriore è molto poco curata e dal giardino entrano molti insetti se si aprono le finestre, sarebbe utile montare delle zanzariere.

Die Lage war Top - fantastisch. Gut erreichbar mit Standseilbahn (fährt aber nur bis 19.00 Uhr abends) oder mit Bus Nr. 12. Sehr gut Ausgestattet...

Es hatte viele Pfannen und Geschirr. Leider waren die Pfannen (Bratpfanne) in einem schlechten Zustand.

Very poor communication: until the very day we had to get into the apartment we didn’t get any information. People entered the apartment to clean at 10 am on the leaving day without warning, but most importantly I still haven’t received a receipt for my stay (I can’t get it reimbursed trough my employer) after several communication attempts trough Booking.com. I will probably lose my money.

The apartment was large with lots of amenities . It took a 10 min ride to grocery shopping and be downtown. Great views on top of the hill. Initially we were unable to access our apartment although we were told she would meet us at the door. Although it was also noted we needed a code and key to get in. We informed her to send this early in am because we do not have a SIM card and only accessible via email. Fortunately there was a random neighbor who was able to call her . Initially no answer but she called back in due time given the instructions how to access the house
