El departamento en sí es cómodo limpio y parece nuevo ! Está renovado y muy lindo !

El departamento excelente, el edificio deja bastante que desear y no lo ponen en la descripción, ni informan que es por escalera y el aire acondicionado no llega al dormitorio ya que está en el living, deberían al menos poner un ventilador.

Stairs and shower cubical was very small to get into

Did not realize it was on the fourth floor with no lift. This was a struggle as my husband had a bad foot. We managed it.

Great location, the apartment is good and clean.

The property was in the perfect location for visiting the sights of Madrid, right by the entrance to the Plaza Mayor yet quiet! The apartment is small but functional and has everything you need for a stay in Madrid, with a supermarket right across the road and restaurants with easy reach.

Very disappointed there was no sofa bed! Photos clearly showed a sofa bed set up in the lounge and it would have been useful as the air conditioning was in the lounge! The air conditioning was only in the lounge and you it was hard to feel it in the bedroom. Although its stated as a one bedroom, it is not unusual to have a sofa bed in the lounge for when two people are sharing, so i was surprised to find that the sofa bed was no longer in use - the photos need to be removed to avoid misinformation. It was on the fourth floor and they were very steep. Getting entrance to the property was left to the last minute - only given details once flight has landed.

Didn't eat at the property, we ate out.

The stairs upto the 4th floor. Suggestion, leave a couple of cold bottles of complimentary water in the fridge for guests on arrival. Would have helped after a long hot journey.

Pros - location super central, quite despite in busy area (great windows), friendly check-in, maybe 50 sq/m apt laid out somewhere between a studio and a 1br (the bed is behind a curtain and separate from living room).

Cons - cumbersome check in during the preceding days... apps to scan your passport, 2 payments for the booking, a 3rd payment for €150 sec deposit which we didn't know about up front, walking up 4 floors to get to the place (would have been difficult with suitcases).
