Galini View Apartments Lindos

The property was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. WiFi was good. Garden was nice. The property was very close to the sea. Staff was friendly. Could easily self checkin and checkout.

They didn’t have salt in the kitchen. Ground floor apartments don’t have a view to Acropolis because of trees.

I couldn’t fault it. You obviously need to be prepared to walk a few minutes to get into the centre of town. To us that was a positive

Apartment ideal, with outside space as well. Maid service daily, sheets changed in the week. Location to beach and resturants fab. Short walk (10 -15 mins) to the town centre. Huge choice of shops, resturants and bars.

Nothing we didn't really dislike, had everything we needed. With a bit of culture too to mix up beach days. Thought the sun beds on the beach were a little pricey, but can't fault the staff running up and down all day serving their customers.

Quiet early morning swims, herb fragranced trail runs out along the coast, and sunny breakfast on the terrace. Galini View was a gorgeous home from home, within a pebbles throw of the beach for our working holiday. Panos and Antonis were excellent hosts, dedicated to resolving the wifi issue so we could work seamlessly from Greece. And Maria who cleans the apartment daily is a great character too. We will miss the chorus of crickets, the braying donkeys and that incredible view of the acropolis from Galini - which became synonymous with our daily routine in Lindos. Galini View Apartments Lindos was perfect for our needs, really close to Lindos town square and all of the sights, but far enough down the hill (and nearer to the beach) to to peaceful and quiet. We had apartment 5, which was detached from the main building and had it's own entrance, garden (with outdoor shower) and sun terrace. Inside everything felt very new and luxurious. The shower was lovely and strong and had different jets and settings. There was a washing machine and dishwasher (with soap tablets available on request); a well-equipped kitchen and ample fridge-freezer. Nespresso machine (and 4 capsules), a bottle of wine and bread and honey available on our arrival. The bed was large and very comfortable, the ac worked well, but we didn't need it very often because we could feel a breeze through the patio door and bathroom window. Also a sofa (sofabed?) and TV which we didn't use. Wonderful to walk down a path of banana palms and other fruit trees to our apartment door, rinse our feet before entering if we wanted and pick a lemon off the tree for a nice cold drink! Great to lie on our own private sun terrace and look up at the Acropolis. Just a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach-front restaurant, great for breakfast or simple, fresh cooked meals and straight onto the beach. Lovely soft sand and clear, shallow waters- heaven!

The mosquitoes were extremely tenacious! Bring a plug-in bug repellant! Would have been nice to have a few staples such as salt and pepper in the kitchen or the option to buy a bag of groceries.

It's a very special place...I loved the fantastic wiew, on the Acropoli the sunset with the birds singing,the cats it's liké if this house waiting for us,of course we been there at the end of octobre everything was quiet but thé atmosphère in this house Is unforgettable.Excellent communication and the house Is a 50 mr from the beach and 5 minute from the Village .
