Comfortable, quiet, basic cooking facilities useful, supplied USB adapters very useful, good supply of cooking utensils and few wine glasses! Not far to city centre.

Very little space or natural daylight, the (quirky) only window/shutter with no glass (besides two small openings in the double doors) was tiny and all but inaccessible - u have to climb up on the worktop and stretch to open it; lots of TV channels but very few in English. A LOT of steps to climb to get there. No armchairs/sofa to relax on.

The key pick-up is not at the property, but it's not really far from the property, at a walking distance. But it's a different address in the center of the city, so you should be ready for this. The kitchen and kitchenware exceeded any expectations - the kitchen literally has everything you need for cooking. The bed is comfortable, but might be not seem wide enough for some couples. The place is very compact and cozy, extremely clean! Furniture and everything is really new. The big advice is to access the apartment and the street not by stairs as Google maps suggests if you walk (extremely high, not good for elderly people!) but by using Elevador Castelo (R. dos Fanqueiros 176, 1100-107) which will take you to the street with Pingo Doce supermarket and there you will have a much more comfortable walk, not steep, but relatively flat and quick! The location of the apartment is great - short distance to most sights and transportation stops, we enjoyed everything. Had a little problem with opening/closing the door - it was too tight, but if you are strong, you can open it :) Some guests might not enjoy the lack of natural light, because the windows are small. But as long as we travel not for the reason of staying inside all the time, we did not mind it! It was a good stay, recommended!
