Ohne Klimaanlage im Sommer sehr heiß! Das Apartment ist kleiner als auf den Fotos, Küche und Bad winzig, aber ausreichend. Steile Treppen im Stiegenhaus. Nachts ist es laut.

Nicely decorated, plenty of closet space. Beds and sofa were comfortable, fans were very helpful in the heat. Can’t comment on the kitchen families, we didn’t use them. Building had a coffee shop and a few brunch places and restaurants around.

We agreed to meet a friend of the host’s at 3 PM for check-in and we messaged them 3 hours prior to confirm we’d arrived in Lisbon and are on schedule to meet them on time. We arrived at the building at 2:57 PM and waited until 3:20 PM and no one arrived. We messaged the friend a few times while we waited but had no response. The host had advised us earlier that we could store our luggage in the friend’s office, so we looked up office and it was 5 minutes from the building. We arrived at the office to ask for the friend, and were advised she wasn’t available. We asked to check in to the property and were told we’d need to wait and to leave our luggage. We refused, and the friend’s colleague went to message someone and later came back with a key and walked us back to the building. She checked us in and when we asked what the delay was, she advised that the cleaner had not returned the second set of keys. We didn’t feel there was any understanding or empathy for our circumstances, and certainly no prior communication to tell us about the delay. This is after we’d been travelling for 8 hours and were exhausted. The friend also read our messages and didn’t respond, and never provided an apology for the delay. We ultimately checked in at 3:45 PM, again with no apologies. We had a 5 night stay, and would’ve benefited from two sets of towels each given the lack of washing facilities. For 3 nights the noise from the street was extremely loud, granted we stayed during a festival that happens in June , but the windows did nothing to block the noise. The location is around a 15-20 min walk from most tourist attractions and major train stations, so bear that in mind.

Very clean and compact, with everything you need for a short stopover or flying visit to Lisbon, if you want to be in the heart of the Alfama party action.

The person letting us into the apartment kept us waiting in the street for 30 minutes, despite being told of our precise arrival time, exactly as requested. Other reviews mention the odour in the stairwell, which is pretty constant, but does not permeate into the apartment. The main door from the street was often left unlocked, or even wide open by other tenants.

Located in a nice area of Alfama and short distance (Arount 20' minutes) walk from city center. Perfect size for a couple. 3 coffee shops under the apartment and many more in small distances.

To small for 4 member family

Everything was as described. The host was so nice and the place was clean and comfortable. The location is amazing if you want to explore all the most important locations in the city.

The apartment is situated in a safe area and it was very clean. The small disadvatanges are: the apartment is smaller than in the pictures, a little bit noisy as the building is very old, the bed is 140cm, so it is a little bit difficult for 2 people to sleep in, but the sofa bed is very helpfull. Overall it was a nice stay, I recommand it.

We stayed from December 26 to January 03. We were completely satisfied with the apartments - they are located in the historical part of the city, no more than 10 minutes walk to Commerce Square, all the main history attractions are within walking distance, also no more than 10 minutes walk to the bus stop, metro, train station. There is a very steep staircase in the entrance of the house, but thanks to the light sensors it is comfortable to go up to the second floor and down.

Cold metal chairs at the table. Heating of rooms with heaters.

Everything was great, Joanna was very kind and helpful.

The location is right in the middle of Alfama, which was excellent.

The apartment and everything inside is "tired". Cleanliness should be improved and some of the items replaced.
