An apartment that felt historic, full of nice furniture and beautifully decorated. Located nicely in the Barrio Alto area and only a short walk from city centre. The apartment is very well-equipped with everything you might need. Apart from the problem we had in the bedroom, the apartment was spotlessly clean.

Upon arrival the bedroom smelled very strongly of urine. We were so exhausted we almost ignored it, imagining it was in our heads. It turned out it was the rug in the bedroom. Someone came to check at 8pm the next day, mopped the bedroom floor and took the rug away. The smell lingered for a further day. It was disappointing and in all honesty I thought a discount on the first two days of our stay would have been appropriate. We had paid a lot of money to stay there and having to sleep with the smell of urine was unacceptable. Also, don't expect a good sleep. You can hear everything from the apartment above and the hallway outside. We never had a good sleep, constantly awoken by neighbours.

Gorgeous and huge apartment. Perfectly located. Definitely would stay here again.

Loved the location despite the steep climb from Baixa-Chico metro 😁 The apartment was so spacious and had everything you might need!

I liked the location. It was in the middle of everything we could walk to. Everything in the Apartment that was provided met our needs. I appreciated how fast they responded and fixed an issue that we had with the water heater.

I didn’t like the smell that came from the bathroom from the sewer reflux. It can be expected in older buildings. Flushing twice seemed to help with that.
