Soul of Lisbon - V

Great location to have a feel of old town Lisbon. Nicely decorated and good facilities and layout for our group - couple and a senior. Lots of daylight and nice windows. Good amenities with coffee maker etc. Small mercado and lots of restaurants close by. Excellent response time and communication from owner

Would want to arrive during daylight hours since the entrance is off a walkway and bottom of the stairwell is dimly lit. Twin mattress wasn’t super comfortable. Members of the group should be physically fit since hill walks are required from any nearby public transportation.

A comfortable apartment with all the necessary amenities. Moreover, excellent location at the heart of the city in a calm street. Great restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood as well. Ultimately, hosts were friendly and pretty responsive.

Great location in the center of Lisbon. Big rooms having all needed furniture. The kitchen is fully equiped. The bathroom is well lit and clean. The parking that can be used closeby is 100m away (Pingo Doce supermarket).

The light in the apartment was not enough. There was some moisture on the ceiling of the kitchen.

I was given a wrong pass code of the front door when we reached and tried to get in to keep our luggage. Probably it was done purposefully to make sure we reach out to the host to cross check

The entry to the first floor apartment can be lot better compared to what it is now. The entry and the stairs etc are not well maintained and lot of clutter. Once you enter the flat - it’s a different world. Wished they maintained the entrance a bit better.

The apartment was clean with a nice spacious Living Room. It was in an excellent location for walking to many of the sights and for train stations too. If I sent a query on Booking.com, the host answered very promptly.

It just so happens that there was a lot of heavy rain in Lisbon for the days we were there and the apartment stairs is open to the sky at the top and lots of water flowed down the stairs and a small amount came into our apartment under the door. My worry was that the stairs would be slippy but thankfully, none of us slipped. The outside keypad failed in the rain so be sure to carry then outside key bat all times. Just a little concern.

Cosy house, central spot, kind host. Although in the middle of the historic town not too noisy.

Not really a minor, but kitchen is old fashioned and has no dishwasher.

Everything was fine and good, the lady that received us, recommended a really cool place to go eat. Everything was clean, the rooms are fine and the living room is comfortable. We highly recommend to take the lift that goes up to the castle and the one that goes to the city center, that way you do not have to walk all the way.

To tell something it was a little noisy before 12 but with the windows closed, everything is ok.And we would have liked that we had a little more light on the beds.
