Grand Latina Apartment

The location of the apartment is amazing. Everything you need and tourist attractions are within walking distance. Miguel is a great host, he was very helpful, gave detailed information on everything. The apartment has the capacity to accommodate almost 20 people.

There are no windows in the rooms and there are only 2 toilets and bathrooms in a house that can accommodate so many people.

Positives: The location of the accommodation is perfect, all attractions can be reached within half an hour's walk - and Madrid is so beautiful anyway that it is worth walking around. The host is very flexible (we were able to take over the accommodation before the specified time and our luggage could stay there until the evening on the day of departure)

Negatives: In the apartment advertised for 20 people, in the case of a maximum number of people, 4 people sleep on the sofa in the living room and this is not marked on the Booking. Only one of the 6 bedrooms has a window, the others do not receive natural light or ventilation. The water blocks are small, inconvenient, in need of thorough renovation and ventilate towards the kitchen (!). Excellent accommodation for young groups of friends for whom comfort is not the primary concern.

Location and service from the person in charge

Furniture is very old and sofas where stained and broken, the washing machine wasn't working.

There was a lot of space and 3 small balconies. The apartment had a big fridge and basic utensils, glasses, plates etc. in the kitchen. The host was very very friendly, forthcoming and flexible!! There is enough space to effectively host 14 people! The area is very central and anything can be reached by foot. There is even a big marked with fresh produce right across from the apartment, including numerous cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, etc.

The rooms had no windows. Well, one room had a small window, but when our friend tried to open it, the glass fell on him and hurt his chin. There was effectively only one bathroom for 14 people, and there was a broken window connecting the bathroom and the kitchen, so there was a lack of privacy whenever the bathroom was used. There were two toilets almost in the same room, and only separated by a makeshift pull-aside wall, so two people that do not know each other too well could barely use the toilets at the same time. The bathroom could also not be locked. Thankfully there was another small shower in the kitchen. The kitchen had a washing mashine but it had residue inside and was therefore not used by us.

Fantastic location, huge apartment with more than enough sleeping accommodations, well stocked kitchen

Decorations and furniture were mostly IKEA. Totally functional, but lacking warmth and a Spanish vibe

big apartment which accommodated 10 of us quite easily. kids loved the linked bedroom with bunk beds. a cosy kitchen with basic utilities to make a quick meal , greatly recommend.
