"Apartment OK but hard to find in a big busy city and terrible app."

Self contained apartment which was comfortable

The HoomVIP app was very difficult to use. It took multiple tries for it to scan our passports. The apartment was difficult to find using Google maps and there was no sign on the door. I didn’t like having to use my mobile phone to unlock the door. I would much have preserved to meet someone at the property and get the keys from him or her. The washing machine was a top loader and you had to manually close the drum before using it. We figured it out eventually but it wasn’t easy and there were no instructions. The apartment was otherwise fine but I wouldn’t have booked it if I had known there would be no contact at all with the owner and that I’d have to use the HoomVIP app, which was a hassle and quite stressful
