Labanca's La Perla dei Sassi

The property was charming and situated in an excellent location to explore Matera. Gianni was an exceptional host, immediately available to answer our questions and even personally helped us find a free parking space in complicated Matera.

Gorgeous, spacious, stylish and unique clean apartment in a superb, yet quiet location. Good thick walls helped keep it cool and really quiet suitably aided by effective air conditioning in the bedroom. Super little outdoor space overlooking the street. Great hosts. Next door to an excellent restaurant.

Needed a wider range of pans for cooking and a chopping board.

the host did not let us know the parking situation in advance (which nearby streets have free parking) - we ended up driving around busy Matera and paying to park where we could. Also, when we arrived, we called the host to find out where to park and a woman answered saying “sorry I’m not interested”. I called back and persuaded her that we were guests at the property and she should be expecting us. we then had to wait a little while for Gianni to come and meet us.

Very comfortable, great location, plenty of space for.our family of 5. Exceptional host, easy to communicate with.

Location is perfect and accomodation is nice.

Breakfast was really terrible, just a few small muffins and coffee. Not worth the money at all.

We loved to stay here. The house is so special, so nice decorated, so clean, so well organized. The fireplace was a bonus and we really enjoyed it. The location is just perfect, so close to everything. The house is more beautiful in reality than the photoes. The owner helped us with all what we needed.
