The pictures of this property really do not do it justice! It was immaculate, beautiful, spacious, extremely well stocked, and incredibly comfortable. We picked up our adult kids in Naples who were jetlagged and exhausted. We could not have found a more perfect place to stay in Matera. The location is fantastic and extremely close to everything. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. Our only regret was the cold weather which did not allow us to enjoy the stunning balcony and the fact that we didn’t stay longer!

Great location, nice property overall with all appliances needed.

Breakfast needs a bit more variety. Bed can be more comfortable. Shower is pretty small.

Excellent proximity - literally only a flight of stairs-to the Sassi district, restaurants and cafes. Beautifully appointed apartment - tastefully decorated, spacious , three balconies including a roof top terrace. Generous provisions including breakfast items. Delightful and helpful host who provided excellent restaurant and supermarket recommendations. More like a cosy house than an apartment. Parking in adjacent parking lot: it did cost £52 for 2days- you can see the car from the apartment.

We told the owner that we will be ealier and luckly the appartment was cleaned early so we could enter after 13. The location is perfect, just 100m from the underground parking and 100m from the old city. Additionnaly, the appartment is very confortable. We had breakfast waiting for us, enough coffee and tea for whole family.

Fantastic property, close to everything and easy to find. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. This property is just stunning and had everything we needed. We only stayed one night and wished we had longer. Matera is wonderful and everything is in walking distance to this accommodation. Would highly recommend. There is free parking nearby, or paid parking even closer if you have a vehicle.

The only thing to prepare for is two flights of stairs to get to the apartment (if you have luggage). Otherwise everything is wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay.
