Quite an old apartment. Hot water would take awhile longer to come out

Location is fantastic -- very central location in an amazing city; shops, restaurants, cafes, tourist attractions all very close. Apartment is extremely spacious and comfortable. The host, Francesco, speaks good English and is kind, responsive, and attentive. The apartment has been used by the owner's family for a long time, and is lovingly taken care of. Would recommend very highly and would definitely return.

We had no complaints about this property. As must be expected for so central a location in a lively Italian city, there is some traffic noise, but nothing that should disturb any but very light sleepers. The decor is not very modern; but this was something that in fact recommended and endeared the property the more to us!

A delightful, spacious and warm apartment right in the centre of historic Padova. Three comfortable bedrooms with good sized double beds, living/dining room with table, sofa and chairs, and well-equipped kitchen stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits. Absolutely everything needed for your stay. Cafes very close by open for breakfast (except Sundays), and many superb restaurants a few minutes walk away. Bus and tram to station stop right outside (10 minutes to station), making this ideal for trips to Venice, half an hour away by train. As some people have observed, the plumbing is idiosyncratic, but we had no problems with showers at all. The host, Francesco, was great at communicating, and met us with the keys even though we were quite late arriving (10pm). We have rented many apartments through booking.com, and this was one of the nicest.
