Very well equipped, very clean, very nice host.

Not that this is anyone’s fault, but as the property was on the top floor, the wind battered the apartment block all night making it difficult to sleep, ofc not anyone’s fault but something to take into consideration if you are a light sleeper like I am.

In overall we were very happy with the place and the host was really lovely. The place is easy to reach, has a great view (not beach), it heats up easily. Very comfortable chairs, sofas and bed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, even with a washing machine, in case you stay for longer. There are enough fresh towels, a lot of little extras, so in overall a great place. Communication with the host was easy, very aimable person. We will come again.

Very small kitchen, almost no space to put food. On the other hand a very big dining table. Really ideal for a couple.

The location of this property is perfect. The beach is just in front of the place and easy to access to the town centre by tram. The owner is very nice and guided us kindly. Visiting there in summer time would be perfect.

The beach was just across the street. It was big and there were very few people, so it was a great place to rest. Some nice restaurants were 10 min. from apartment. The host is very nice and responds quickly and explains all the details needed for stay.

Finding a parking place is a nightmare. There are 3 types of parking places (for residents, free and payed) but in summer all are fully occupied. On one day it took us almost 2 hours to find a place.

It was clean and well furnished. Direct access to the beach.

1. Parking is a nightmare. “Free parking without reservation required “ is actually a lie. The truth is reserved parking is IMPOSSIBLE! I had to keep moving car for a paid space to avoid the often showing up police. The police there does take pictures of cars parking at not allowed places. 2. The check-in way is also confused and very unfriendly. The owner asked me when I wanted to check in. I said about 4-5 pm. They provided me a PIN number, I thought it is like most of rental flat, I can collect the key by myself using the PIN. The owner never explained to me but kept asking me when I will arrive? And ask me to text him 30 mins before I arrive; 20 mins before I arrive. I found that annoying. We were on holiday, why do I need to rush to meet the check in time? Then the owner said he HAS TO leave at 17:45. Only at that moment, I realize he was waiting there for us. He never told me and I feel like he is hiding something from me deliberately… I asked me don’t push me. He said “ I have my life and I am not your slave.” His rude words totally ruined my holiday mood. I never thought of treating him as a slave. The problem is the way he runs his holiday flat! He even said Brugge to Ostend is 30 mins max, ask me to visit Brugge the next day. Ridiculous… the nav shows 40 mins driving at that moment. I as a tourist, how can I drive as fast as him? He even asked me to change my schedule to meet his time? The problem is he never told me he will wait for me there and he has to leave at certain time. I found the whole thing so unfair and unpleasant. As a genius level 3 member, I never bumped into such a situation. Hence I don’t recommend here. 3. Hot water is limited. Run out of it then you gotta wait for another two hours.

Everything was perfect . apartment is a few step away from the beach. very clean. The bed and even the sofa bed are comfortable. kitchen is well equipped. the coffee is a plus. the owner is very kind and offered some sweets for the kids and some wine & beers for us.

Everything was great. Clean, directly on the beach, parking in front of the apartment. Great for a trip with kids.
