The property was a huge apartment with everything you need. The location is right in the middle of things, only a few minutes walk to restaurants, grocery store, and the pier where all the ferries and boat tours are based. The hosts were great people, and know a lot about the local history and what there is to do. It really added to our experience of Olhao to stay here. I would definitely book here again. It is about a 10-minute walk to the train and bus station.

The apartment is brilliant, so much bigger than we expected. Wonderfully clean. It is in a perfect place to explore Olhao. And in a quiet part. Just 200 metres from the sea front and cafes etc. The hosts are amazing...so friendly, helpful and gave us such a warm welcome, with lots of help and advice about the area, where to eat, what to do etc.

"Grab this place!"

If this place is available, GRAB IT. Lots of natural light, GREAT location, completely supplied kitchen down to plastic wrap and an immersion blender. Landlord speaks perfect English and is available right next door. You can't ask for anything more.

All flats can be chilly in February. Bring a sweater and thick socks for lounging around. Cab couldn't bring us to the door. Streets are too narrow. Get dropped at the Mermaid statue in town and walk 2 minutes.

The host was wonderful and gave us good information on the area and a suggestion for a fabulous restaurant. The location was perfect - close to everything in the historic part of the village, but quiet too. Place was spacious and clean. Highly recommend!
