We booked one night driving from Austria to Split. While slightly out of the nearest city, it was easy to get to and cheap. Good bedding set up for a family of four, as well as bathroom plus a kitchen/living area with a dining table. Small gas stove was available, but we didn’t use.

Unfortunately a few things detracted our stay and has caused me to rate it lower. The apartment is the loft which is part of the hosts’ house and entry is inside their house via stairs, there’s. no private entrance. While this did mean the apartment is secure, we didn’t feel a little uncomfortable walking inside their house. As the apartment is part of the house, it felt like it was still used for private use. There was a used bath robe and loofa in the bathroom, hair in the drain.
