Olinda Deluxe Apartment B1

Was a great spot to catch up with an old friend. Lovely surrounds and eateries.

We were transferred from B1 to B2 prior to arrival, so this review is for B2. The apartment was large and felt like home with its stylish decor. Spotlessly clean. The couch was very comfortable. The TV was a challenge to be able to just switch on and find 'normal' stations! The mattress was firm which is how I like it. Neither bathroom was ensuite, one being off the kitchen. Although the extra touches were appreciated, we did feel the basics had been overlooked - nothing but paper towels to use in the kitchen for washing dishes (d/w liquid suppied) and wiping benches, although a second tea towel was supplied. If the dinner plates were smaller they would have fitted much easier into the dishwasher. Quite a feat to be certain they would not be hit by the spinning blades! No face washers supplied and the towel rack in the bathroom would only take one towel. The sign above the toilet advising to flush it each time it was used I thought was unnecessary, to say the least, given the standard of the apartment and, therefore, the standard of the guests! Quite a steep hike up the carpark stairs for an older person. Make sure you unload your car on the shopfront side where there is just a small pull-in at the roadside. A bit picky, but just trying to be helpful for future guests as well as the owners of the property. Please know that we did thoroughly enjoy our stay!!

Location and accommodation were very good and cozy!

Having to give our credit card details was abit of a hastle and we were still trying to get the key code when we reach because they didn’t send it to me but at least someone picked up the phone.

Location was great. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Having bubbly on the balcony in the winter sunshine was a highlight.

Had to rewash some of the dishes as they were not cleaned properly. Otherwise, no complaints. Definitely will be back.
