"Stay away from this apartment!"

We stayed at Tatta & Nanna apartment for two nights with our two young children (aged 2 years and 2 months). Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing for several reasons: - Smell of mould: The moment we entered the apartment, we noticed a strong, unpleasant mouldy odour. Even after keeping the windows open for a while, the smell persisted, forcing us to eat and sleep with it throughout our stay. - No bathroom ventilation: The bathroom has neither a window nor a mechanical ventilation system to remove steam, so the floor remained constantly wet. - Leaking A/C units: The air conditioning/radiator units in the apartment leaked condensation onto the floor. - Incorrect floor advertised: The apartment is actually at the basement level, not on the ground floor as advertised. - Bedroom window issues: The bedroom has a small window without a curtain. It’s still large enough to let in light and wake you up early. Moreover, it sits at street level, so pedestrians can easily see inside or, worse, throw rubbish through it. We reported the mould smell and condensation issues to the host on the first day. They came to inspect the apartment and claimed these were new issues, blaming the previous guests for tampering with the bathroom radiator. However, on the first morning, we found the A/C units and floor covered in condensation, which was not only unpleasant but also posed a serious risk as our 2-year-old could easily have slipped and injured himself. When we complained again, the host offered a token refund that did not reflect the severity of the problems. Afterwards, we discovered reviews on Booking.com from previous guests reporting similar issues, showing the host was already aware of these problems and had done nothing to fix them.
