Chateau Les Jumeaux

Superb! Large and comfortable apartment with a lovely terrace. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Air conditioning in each room. The kitchen is well equipped. Two large bathrooms with enough warm water for 5 people to shower. Kids enjoyed the pool table in the common area. The apartment is on the second floor with a small elevator for luggage. A large shopping center is close. Private parking is a treasure in chaotic Italian traffic. The host Franchesco is very friendly and helpful, speaks English very well and is easy to reach – we communicated conveniently over WhatsApp. The location is very good, only a 20-minute walk to Pompei excavations, 15 minutes to the railway station. We travelled to Naples, Sorrento and Capua easily.

Not to criticize the apartment itself, but we experienced several power interruptions in the whole neighborhood. A couple of times after such events fuses for water heating went off, so no hot water until we released to switch them on again. Both mobile network and WiFi become very slow in the evening – again, nothing specific for this apartment. Traffic at the streets and especially over the small bridge nearby is very busy.
