Son Blanc

Fantastic location clean warm well appointed apartment. Walking distance to everywhere. Good carrefour supermarket around the corner. Raffael was very easy to contact and very helpful. His restaurant suggestions were also good. Varnelli was good for pizza and pasta also reasonably priced, about a 2 min walk away. Mercato Pompeiano was excellent for steaks, it was expensive but good quality. If you like your steaks on the medium to well done side I wouldn’t order steak (that’s actually for most of Italy esp Florence) everything is cooked rare, I wouldn’t waste the money plenty of other options to choose from. i’l Circolo was another suggestion but they took our booking then when we turned up had a private function on 🤷🏻‍♂️ so can’t really say whether good or bad Over all we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend.

Not really a dislike but the parking that’s available is in a very very tight basement car par. If you have anything bigger than a small sedan you won’t make the turn and potentially could get stuck in the driveway. I normally drive a big car at home so am very good at manoeuvring, we had a Skoda Octavia and no way I could get that down either forwards or backwards , so just don’t try. The host was very up front about that before we came. There is some free and paid street parking, but if you have a bigger car just ask Rafael to book the secured parking across the red. 20$ a day you get the owners phone/what’s app number you call it he buzzes you in and out . Just takes the stress away.

The location was perfect - just the very center and still very quiet, convenient for walking in the evenings, a lot of cafes, easy to visit Pompei ruins and Napoli by car. All the items mentioned in the list of Son Blanc are true. Big kitchen, big and very big bedrooms, big and comfortable beds and linen, three conditioners.

We arrived in the car Saturday afternoon and expected to place car at the parking place for our apartment. The place was occupied. The host said that in this case we could use paid parking just near the apartment. But it turned out that the private parkings were closed in Saturday-Sunday (at least in October). We have spent a lot of time to find the only public parking (paid, 24 hours open), near enough. A note for guests - mind that it is very hard to reach the free parking space in the underground with a middle or big car. We had middle (Class A Mercedes) and this was a mess!

The apartment was really clean and the owner helped us at everything we needed ! Very happy with our choice

Amazing location! Close to Ruins, Restaurants etc Beautifully presented, clean and tidy accommodation. Easy communication. Would definitely recommend!

Nothing bad to say at all!

The perfect place to stay for our visit to Pompei. There is an entrance to the ancient Roman ruins heritage site only a few minutes walk down the street. There is parking available on site and the train station is located within walking distance. The apartment is located close to restaurants and shops. As well, the rooms were spacious and clean with fresh linen. The staff was great to deal with and accommodating. Highly recommend!
