Apartments ART TEATRO

I don’t even know where to start from. This is the first bad review I gave in my life but it is really deserved. We arrived around 10pm with our little baby. As my wife was getting the baby ready to sleep, she found many insects on the bed. We took the baby immediately off the bed and send the photos to the owner via WhatsApp. As there was no response, I called their number and the person on the phone then offered us to take the appartment next door and to do a ‘late checkout’ at 12pm. ( as mentioned before, we had already arrived around 10pm) We then moved to the other appartment they offered. The appartment had a horrible smell coming out of the bathroom, it smelled like sewage. This made is already hard to sleep in the room which has the bathroom. We felt like we had no other option as it was around midnight already. One would have thought that after such horrible experience you would atleast get refunded as a sort of gesture after ruining your night. However, this did not happen and when I asked if we could even leave the luggage in the appartment for little longer. as we were already down with the baby they replied that I can’t leave it because the next guest is coming (which is not true as the appartment was still available online) and I that I can only bring them to their office which we thought was quite far taking into consideration we are already also pushing a baby stroller. To sum up, after such an experience I would totally avoid going there again. I hope they can learn from this and improve. I also have many more photos and videos but I think it’s pointless to attach everything.

Location is the best in town. Very nice for vacation.

Everything was amazing! The communication was great, the rooms were gorgeous.

The apartment was spotless clean and tidy. It is located in the center of Rijeka so it's super easy to get anywhere you want. The instructions for check-in are smart and easy to understand. The staff is friendly, they gave us a lot of advices and asked all our questions about the city. The beds are comfortable. There is a small kitchen in case you want to cook something really quick. And there is a big smart TV in one of rooms 😉

It's a quite noisy area. It was raining all night long so it was hard to get out from the building in the morning because of a enormous amount of water near the entrance. The locals who live in that building know about this problem so they all have boots but as we were just traveling we obviously didn't have suitable pair of shoes 😅 May be a problem during winter for tourists who come to Rijeka.
