Apartman Tia

Easy to find. The host's instructions were easy to follow. No dedicated parking space but we were spoiled with choices in neighboring streets. Amazing garden to sit alone or with friends. Spotless apartment. It was really important to have a comfortable(but not too soft) bed for my wife with her back problems, so that was perfect too. It might sound weird but I really loved the ice cold water in the shower (of course there was hot water too). I have never experienced a water that cold and now I have to do something about it at home, cause starting a day like that is something else. Also, tap water tastes great. I was looking for the cheapest place with the highest score and this felt like finding a treasure.

Location is very close to hbf.

There are no electric sockets for upper bunk beds. Centralised ac in the room was not powerfull enough to cool down top floor rooms.

We enjoyed our stay in Apartman Tia. The apartment was spacious, perfectly clean and very quiet. The double bed was very comfortable and it’s nice to have it upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped. There is a washing machine which is very practical (we didn’t use it). We enjoyed having access to the beautiful garden. Thank you very much!

It's price is good.

If you are driving there, finding a car park is an issue.

Hard to find a parking spot and to go to the city center by walk is all downhill/uphill.

The apartment is well equipped for its size. It's a two storey place where the kitchen is on the low level after the entrance and the beds are on the upper level. Very well equipped with kitchenware. Outside ,there are neighbours around as the apartment is part of a flat building, but that's not a bother if you want to have a quiet and restful holiday, as our intentions were.

The only con is the problem with a parking place. It's always busy,and as first timers in the city, we were shocked at how packed Rijeka is even outside of downtown city. We were constantly looking for a free parking space driving around the area where the apartment is. A MUST note to future guests: Always close your rearview mirror from the road side when you park on a public street!!! I learnt this the hard way, because somebody bumped into my rearview mirror and broke it, fleeing the scene, but I guess this is a common issue in the city, so only be careful about this issue.

Nice homely feel, host went above and beyond, making us feel welcome and spoilt!! Couldn’t recommend more.
