Mayberry Lodge

No hob. Limited cubarb space in bedroom

The owner was not very friendly, and the accommodation is much smaller than expected. There was barely enough space for two adults to move around, and only one chair was provided for two people. The photos are misleading — there is no hall or living room, and you enter directly into the bedroom, which feels awkward. The room became very hot even on a mild 22°C day, as it only has one small window and no proper ventilation. Privacy is also an issue since it is directly connected to the owner’s accommodation, meaning you can hear them and they can hear you.

Very modern and clean apartment. All we needed (and more!) for a short stay by the sea and the nature reserve. Maz is a very friendly and helpful host.

What a lovely place to stay! Perfect for our needs and close to both the high street and the beach. Absolutely spotlessly clean, comfy bed, and the added touches were thoughtful. We would thoroughly recommend Mayberry Lodge for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Selsey.

Great overnight stay... Nice added touches of breakfast and milk. Lovely outside space. Good location to walk into centre of Selsey and to beach. Maz was a charming host.

The 10am checkout was just a little early but was known beforehand so it was expected.
