Nakov Apartment next to bus station

Excellent location. Lots of great restaurants and cafes within 10 minute walk. Fantastic burek shop right downstairs. 5 minutes walk to bus station, 15 minutes walk to Macedonia Square and Old town. Nice spacious balcony. Host was responsive and friendly.

The apartment was not clean. Dusty , old mattress without cover, old, worn-out sheets. Broken and worn-out furnishings. No kettle or coffee pot. Cracked sink. Pitch dark in hallway, need flashlight to open the door. Very loud traffic noise all night, if you're a light sleeper, you will not get any rest. Door and windows do not reduce street noise. Wifi was down several times a day, had to call host every time, but was restored promptly.

Marjan as a host is very nice and responsive and helpful with suggestions. The apartment is also located well with walking distance to central bus station, main attractions, old bazaar and nice cafes too.

Bed was not comfortable, spring seemed to be broken. The apartment had a peculiar smell and bathroom had broken hooks and had shampoo but no shower gel. Also, not a fault of the host, but the light outside the apartment wasn't working, so was difficult at night to open the lock of the door. And since the windows were left open (maybe to air the apartment and get rid of smell), the dust heap got collected in the apartment.
