Lochanside

Super cozy, would definitely come again next time

Our stay exceeded all our expectations! We loved every minute at Lochanside. Exploring the grounds and spotting wildlife was a real highlight of our stay. The peace and quiet here is truly special and made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We would happily return.

Nothing to dislike in the piece of paradise!

Il posto più incantevole in cui abbiamo mai soggiornato. Appartamento pulitissimo, cucina dotata di tutto il necessario. Whisky di benvenuto, latte fresco e marmellate, binocolo e telescopio in dotazione per guardare gli animali dalla splendida vetrata. Un vero angolo di paradiso.

The view, the outlook, being able to see the wildlife, the binoculars and telescope, the quietness, the superb decor, the extra blanket, the beautiful toiletries, the friendly hosts.

It’s a clean, cosy apartment with all necessary facilities It’s in the middle of nature so the surrounding is beautiful

The apartment is far from Portree but that’s no surprise since it is mentioned in the listing

Lochanside is such a gorgeous property. The perfect place to stay when visiting Skye. Really well equipped, including a super stocked kitchen, toiletries and books/games. Lovely extra touches too. The view from the lounge window is unbelievable. I could stand there all day!! Mark and Ann were excellent hosts. Both so welcoming and happy to assist with any queries we had (and thanks again Mark for my first aid!!). Plus the sheep and little lambs were a huge bonus!! We would love to stay here again if we are back to the the Isle of Skye.

Nothing! Just to other travellers; it is quite remote so having a car is pretty essential!
