The most beautifully presented, designed and well appointed roomy unit in a fabulous location. Josie & Wayne were friendly & approachable. The gardens were exceptional and our balcony overlooked them so it was amazing inside and out. The little extra complimentary treats were the icing on the cake for an excellent stay. Would stay here again and highly recommend it in a heartbeat. The quality of all the sheets, towels and kitchen appliances were top tier too. Absolutely Loved our stay in this beautiful unit!!

The only negative was having to carry our suitcases in and out over the pebbles to access our unit at the rear of the property and not being able to use our rollers on our suitcases. Very small issue easily overlooked by this perfect accommodation

We loved this cottage. Clean and so well equipped. Literally everything you needed in there. Fantastic location close to the little town and about a 6 min walk from the bus stop which is super handy when you arrive. Our host was lovely and the gardens are just absolutely stunning. Would stay here again and were very happy with our stay.

In the other direction, explore two of the island’s best vineyards, just a walk away. The Western Explorer stops less than five minutes on foot. Our stay in the beautifully appointed, modern self-contained apartment was nothing short of spectacular. Overlooking a meticulously maintained garden, the unit offers a tranquil and stylish haven. But what truly made our experience exceptional was Josie, our wonderful host. She welcomed us with a thoughtful collection of complimentary wine, beer, and snacks, making us feel truly at home. Her top recommended dining spots proved to be just as delightful. We wholeheartedly recommend The Secret Garden to anyone eager to immerse themselves in the beauty and charm of Waiheke Island. It makes the island a great experience!
