Oxfordshire Living - The Monroe Apartment - Oxford

The location was great. Bed was comfortable. Spacious and we like that it has two bathrooms. Instructions were clear and getting in and out.

not worth the value. Amenities were limited. Lots of insects when we arrived including spiders, flies. One of the bathroom windows couldn’t close properly. Apartment seems clean on the surface but underneath the bed was super dusty that we got allergy. There was a nespresso machine but no capsule (although normal package coffee was given) there was washing machine but no detergent given.

Great location, lovely apartment, very helpful host.

Nothing we didn’t like! A little welcome pack (eg tea bags, a few coffee pods to go with the coffee maker, milk) would have been a nice additional touch as we’ve seen in other places.

The property was within a stones throw of Westgate mall. Great central location. Property is stunning.

It would be good to have more than one parking space.

The property is very spacious. The parking is easy and extremely convenient - an excellent benefit.

Lack of climate control. Being on the 3rd floor with lots of windows and being a newer building without a lot of insulation there will be a struggle for comfort in winter or summer. Way toooooo hot in summer and many reviews mentioned heating issues in the winter. Also for me the beds were too hard. The apartment has two blinds that the cords are broken and the lock on the living room door to the patio is broken.
